Photo Number 1929

This is a Real Photo Postcard from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.

Group at wedding Aristo Postcard DL Ant

The whole family was there…even the dog.   Back in the early 1900’s it was quite common to be married in the brides home and have a wedding meal afterwards.

This is a Aristo Postcard that dates from  around 1911.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. An amazing photo. I've seen a lot of bride & groom photos but never one of the guests. This photo is priceless.

  2. I agree with the tired teacher! What a marvelous photo! It is truly a shame there aren't any names on it!

  3. I've always thought how romantic it would be to have a lovely outdoor wedding in the garden of the family home...until I woke up and smelled the coffee and realized what a long day of lots of hard work it would be to realize such a dream.

Still, how nice it would be to have a keepsake like this of one's ancestors. Too bad no names :(
