I am pretty sure this is Marie Estelle nee' Borgwardt Hughes (Oct. 16, 1912 in Fairmont, Martin County, Minnesota - May 7, 2000 in Littleton, Arapahoe County, Colorado)

Marie Estelle Borgwardt, the daughter of George H. and Stella O. (Drake) Borgwardt, was born Oct. 16, 1912, in Fairmont. She received her education in Fairmont and also attended nurses' school, receiving her degree as a registered nurse. In June of 1937, she was united in marriage to Emory G. Update from Iggy:

The 1930 US census shows a Charles Roth as a roomer in Farimont, MN, born c. 1913 in Iowa. It is hard to be sure since this fellow got around - and there are a couple other fellows with the same name, but I think this is Charles Phillip Roth
Birth 1 Jan 1913 in Estherville, Emmet, Iowa
Death 26 Feb 1999 in Brownsville, Cameron, Texas
He worked in a road construction outfit based in Brainerd, MN for 20+ years.

The photographer is R.W. Hubbell from Red Wing Minn
I found that he was an active photographer from 1886 to 1893.
I will guess this one is taken closer to 1886 because it looks like this gown might have a bustle.   The Cabinet Card also has a pink back that was seen from 1880 to 1890.

There is a chance this is Amanda Malvina Gurley Moll. (She was born in 1847 and married in 1865 and died in 1886.)

I believe her husband, Justus Bernard Moll worked for the railroad Chicago-Milwaukee-St. Paul-Pacific known as the Milwaukee Road that went through Red Wing.

He married Lucy Hill and they had seven children.  She died in 1893.  He married Cora Azalea Bradish and they had three children; Samuel, Catherine, James and Mildred.

Possibly the child in the photo is Mildred,,,she was born in 1895.  She married Glen B. Lukens and they had three children; Ellen, James and John.

Most likely Lake Forest, Ill.  This looks to be a photo from around 1880 to 1890.
Thanks for stopping by.
Update from Susanna Rosalie:
This is a possibility.
This could be MARTHA ANNA VEEDER *22. September 1873 in Fonda, Montgomery County, New York, +9. January 1951.

The NYGenWeb page collected info on the work and biography of Dr. Major Albert Veeder (1848-1915; a descendant of Simon Volkertse Veeder), married to Mary E. Wood. Their children:
Albert F. Veeder
Willard H. Veeder
Sarah E. Veeder
Martha A. Veeder

Reading through this page, I found a possible connection to Illinois: Martha Anna's sister Sarah worked as a teacher at Frances Skinner Acadamy west of Chicago. So maybe at a visit, the photo was taken. I think timewise it could fit.

At the page of family search, a record is given showing the application for a passport of Martha Anna Veeder in 1910. Looking at the original, one can see the 'Description Of Applicant' with her features of a 'round face with a small mouth and small nose, a square chin, high forehead'...At least not contrary to the portrait above!

Leona Clinton
Prop of Ethel C. Lowry
This Cabinet Card has a pink back.  From 1880 to 1890 different colors were sometimes used for the face and back of the mounted photos.
Thanks for stopping by.
Update from Iggy:
I think the Ethel referred to might be Ethel C[linton?] Lowry, the daughter of Dane Clinton. She was born in Aug, 1882 in Missouri and moved with her family to Los Angeles, CA sometime before 1900. I am not sure how she might be related to Leona - the missing 1890 US Census left a big hole here. Leona might have been an older sister. Leona does not appear with the Dane Clinton family in 1900. Ethel married Homer T Lowry and lived in the San Diego area.

Leona Clinton might be Leona Gibb (4 Jun 1869 in Missouri - 4 Oct 1943 in Alameda), the wife of James H Gibb (1851 to < 1930). It appears James was her second husband. She married George M Bennett in 1889 and is shown divorced in 1910.

The Bennet's had a daughter Bessie B Eib [later Betty B Gibb] (abt 1892) shown as widowed in 1920.

Dartford is known as Green Lake after 1907.

Isabelle Craigs
This is a small photo it measures 3 inches x 4 inches.
Isabelle Craigs back
Isabelle Gerber   Ben Gerber (it is faint)
Mrs Levi Moushberger?? Moeschberger
Raymond  Eddy & Janettes Mother
The photo was probably taken about 1900.
I think one of these ladies may be  Isabelle Schwartz Gerber 1877-1949  Husband Benjamin 1874-1940.  Both are buried at Berne Adams County Indiana.

Update from Iggy:
In the same cemetery as Isabelle is a Levi Moeschberger / Meshberger He was born in 187 and his wife. Ellen / Ella was born in 1876. Her maiden name was Gerber but I think she was a cousin of Benjamin. She is Find A Grave Memorial# 55252705.

Levi and Ella had son Raymond (Find A Grave Memorial# 55252810) and the 1930 US census shows "Jennette" born in 1919. I think "Eddy" was Edward,

Most of the children changed the name to Meshberger.
They also had a son named Denver Meshberger who died in 2006.  Jeanette was still living at that time.

Two ladies and a baby Dl Ant Azo Tricngles Up Postcard

This must be a photo of a child, mother and  maybe a friend or a sister, the other woman doesn’t look old enough to be the grandmother.  Too bad this photo is not marked.  I will point out that both ladies are wearing wedding bands, the lady on the right is carrying gloves and the lady pushing the carriage wears a double buttoned blouse…possibly for ease of nursing her baby.

It is a Real Photo Postcard from 1904 to 1918.  The ladies look all set to travel someplace.
